Karting is fantastic fun and you'll certainly get an adrenalin rush whatever level you are able to drive at. The outdoor circuit is at Whilton Mill (NN11 5NH), just outside Daventry. Whilton Mill is a respected circuit (long and short circuits) in the karting world. As we are taking the shorter circuit it will be suitable if you haven't been karting before and yet will still be great fun for those who have.
This will be for an organised 'race' on the shorter circuit. Each cart is electronically tagged to accurately give your individual lap times and positions. There is 15mins familiarisation/practice and 30mins race. Overalls, gloves and helmet are provided.
Also open to Northant's IVC as a joint event.

May Bank Holiday Monday sees monster trucks (you know, those things with gi-normous wheels) at Santa Pod (Poddington, near Wollaston) ... described as extreme arena action, including the UK's top monster trucks and world record stunt holders, it is fun for kids and adults. Check it out on www.monstermonday.co.ukt runs from 10:30 - meet the team, with the show proper starting at 11:00 through until 5pm. Tickets are cheaper in advance, and need to be booked by April 24. It's not about snobbery or using fancy descriptive terms - it's just a casual evening of relaxing and socializing while trying some different wines but probably focusing slightly more on the experience from the nose to the pallete, then just the usual quaffing. No spitting necessary.
