@1685 will perform to help raise funds for the Willen Church Roof Appeal a selection of period Baroque music for Soprano, Harpsichord and two Bass Viols including arias by Vivaldi, Telemann and Bach; a rare opportunity to see and hear these unusual instruments. Mulled wine and mince pies available in the intermission with a chance to talk to the performers.

A couple of hours music, madness and mayhem! ;-) As a number of us have children (yes, I know my one is a bit old for this!), let?s have a Christmas Party for them! Bring a small (wrapped) present (couple of quid) to go into ?Santa?s sack, jelly or sandwiches or similar (will co-ordinate when I know numbers), and a game (pass the parcel is already taken!) or idea for a game.
If someone wants to volunteer to be Santa, please lat me know.

Don’t know about you but I’m a sucker for Christmas! And bring the children if you have some or maybe borrow some ;-)
I’m happy to pop into the Stables to collect tickets and so not incur a booking fee.

(Bring A Gift) New Members Night

This is New Members Night with a difference. As it’s Christmas, all throughout December the Ship Ashore is inviting people to buy one extra gift when out shopping for those children who are unlucky enough to have to spend Christmas in Milton Keynes Hospital through illness. They are holding this event on 20th December. So as it is our Christmas party that day, it would be nice if we could contribute. If you would like, then please buy a gift, wrap it and mark it for boy/girl, age xx, and bring it along to NMN and we’ll collect them and hand them over. Also, come and greet the prospectives and review office parties with everyone else ;-) You can also pick up your copy of the first MKIVC bulletin of 2009!

Three course meal, and dancing to dawn (okay midnight! ). We have the Conservatory to ourselves, which gives us a limit on tickets (max. 56) so it is first come... ;-)
Tickets will be available to MKIVC members only until October 15 (New Members Night); after that, they will be open to other IVC clubs and non-members. We are happy to keep a ‘reserve’ list whilst tickets are only available to MKIVC members, but when they are gone, they are gone!
